I did a shoot last weekend in Kimberley House in Norfolk for a singer/ songwriter called Claire Nicolson.
I drove down on the Friday with Laura the very talented costume designer who recently worked on 'Nowhere Boy' and 'Brighton Rock'. After helping her unload the car, which was tightly packed with goodies form Angels, The National Theatre, Beyond the Valley and various wonderfull crations that Laura herself had made, I joined Gerald the photographer and his lovely girlfriend and film maker Silka, Mathew the talented prop maker/set designer and Geroge the doggie in the cosy kitchen. Snuggled next to the Aga we got stuck into the delicious red wine our generous hosts Claire and her hubby Simon plyed us with and took turns DJing on youtube. I wobbled to bed at 3.30AM and was up again at 9AM to beging the first make-up look of the day. There was a harlequin theme and we had seven shots and numerous outfits to get through over two days. We shot all over Kimberly and the beautiful grounds trying to keep up with Gerald who shoots with a beer in one hand and an old skool plate camera in the other. I'll post the resulting images as and when I get them(and I know you're in for a treat!) but for now, here's a sneaky peek of behind the scenes!
